Protect your Dock, Marina, Pier, and more from Expensive Ice Damage and Time-Consuming Repairs with the Best Dock DeIcer, Dock Bubbler, or Ice Eater

Make sure that your dock deicer or dock bubbler is in place to give your boat, docks, piers, and marinas full dock ice protection. They work so well that even if ice has already formed, they will bring deeper, warmer water up to the top to melt the ice.

A reliable dock deicer gives you peace of mind and protects your investments from the dangers of ice damage. If you have a marina or dock with several slips, you can use multiple dock deicers to create a protective dock bubbler system.

We have the best boat dock bubblers and dock deicers on the market and our prices won't be beat. Brands like Bearon Aquatics, Kasco, Scott Aerator, and EasyPro have proven themselves to customers all over the world. Protect your assets with one of these tried and tested options.

What is the Difference Between a Dock De-Icer and a Dock Bubbler?

Dock De-Icers and Dock Bubblers are the top options when it comes to keeping water from freezing.

A dock de-icer is the most often used device to keep water from freezing around your docks or boats. It uses a motor and a propeller to pull warmer water from closer to the bottom of a lake or pond up to the surface to keep the surface temperature above the freezing point. The Bearon Aquatics and Kasco units are the most popular.

A dock bubbler is another reliable option that uses diffused air coming from manifolds on the bottom of the lake to bring the warmer water up to the surface. How many manifolds are needed depends on the size of the project. The EasyPro Dock Bubbler System is our recommended option.

Dock De-Icer FAQs

What is a Dock De-Icer?

They protect docks, piers, and marinas from ice damage. They use a propeller to thrust deeper, warmer water up to the surface. This will keep the water above freezing point and also melt any existing ice. They can also be used to open up icy water for duck and waterfowl hunting. By keeping an opening in a small lake or pond you will keep other marine life alive and thriving.

Are Dock De-Icers Environmentally Friendly?

Most dock de-icers that are in use today use an environmentally friendly lubricant so that they don't pollute the water. Some even operate oil-free so that there is no footprint at all.

Are Dock De-Icers Easy to Install?

Most units are very easy to install. You will just take it out of the box, plug it in, place it in the water, and tie it off to a cleat or pole on either side of a slip. They also come with stationary, oscillating, and floating mounts.
