Bearon Aquatics Ice Eater Power Cord Install Instructions

    • Unplug your Ice Eater, Aerator, or Light Kit from the power source.
    • Twist to loosen and remove the existing power cord.
    • Run your new Power House Power Cord through the 2 1/2″ hole.
    • Apply a tiny, pea-sized amount of Dielectric Grease to the Power Cord Connector.
    • Line up the pins and holes from the power cord and connector on the end bell, then twist it on with your hands.  (Be sure to hand-tighten only – Do Not Over-Tighten – Do Not Use Tools)
    • Pull out slack through the 2 1/2" hole and secure it with a screw and clip to prevent the power cord from hitting the propeller.  Another helpful tip is to take the power cord and secure it to a bracket with a zip tie, and then secure it with the clip and screw on the shroud.
    • After you complete the install, give the propeller a spin by hand to make sure that the power cord is safely clear of the propeller.  The last thing you want to do is have a perfectly working Ice Eater clip the power cord with friendly fire from the propeller.
