All our booms are built to stay strong. For added safety, our booms have a dual stainless steel cable system that runs all the way from the boom to the attachment point at the bow of the boat. There are no levers or moving parts on our boom clamps because moving parts can loosen, wear out and break. The Barefoot International B200 Deluxe Straight Boom can be put on and taken off in minutes after the initial installation which we walk you through. It should take no more than an hour to properly install with our freephone help. We also ask you to submit photos and then we will confirm that you are good to go. The Barefoot International B205 Deluxe Gunnel Mount Boom is meant for any boat that does not have a standard 2.5-inch ski pylon in either the rear of the boat (Vdrive Boats in front of the engine and behind the rear seat), a wakeboard tower, or a forward pylon like a mid-engine direct drive. The reason this boom was invented was to be used with ski pylons with a very long taper. By having one bend that goes straight downward, the boom clamp can be mounted lower onto the non-tapered section and still allow the boom to be the correct height for smaller skiers like children.

I highly recommend our B204 Ultimate Setup in order to get your skiers out of the chine spray since windshields that are more than 8 inches past the ski pylon, end up putting the skier closer to the back of the boat where the chine spray is.

The Barefoot International B204V Deluxe Quad V-Drive Boom Passenger’s Side is meant for a Vdrive boat and attaches to the short rear pylon between the engine and the rear seat.
