Power House Aerator Float Cage

Float Cage for Bearon Aquatics F-Series Surface Aerators and Aerator Fountains

Protecting your Power House Aerator will maximize performance and longevity while minimizing or eliminating damage, malfunctions, and down time.  A Power House Float Cage protects your aerator from debris in the water, fish, and wildlife; all of which can damage your aerator, motors, propellers, and harm fish and wildlife. 

A Float Cage by Power House features a hot-rolled metal screen kit that is plastic coated and utilizes a 1" grid for maximum protection while allowing for maximum performance.  

Bearon Aquatics Float Cages are available in 2 sizes:

• Compact- Only fits F250
• Large - gits F500, F750DP, F1000DP, F500F, F1000F

Tools that you will need to set up Bearon Aquatics Float Cage:

Zip Ties, Hog Ring Pliers, Wire Cutters, and #2 Phillips Screwdriver

Instructions for setting up your Bearon Aquatics Float Cage:

1. Remove the float cage from the box.
2. Unfold the cage, and lay flat on the ground.
3. Stand up the (4) 16”x24” side flaps.  Using hog rings, connect the side flaps together. We recommend spacing hog rings approximately every 4-5”.
   Clamp the hog rings together with hog ring pliers, or something comparable.
4. With all four side flaps fastened together, space the 5/16” black clips out on the top edge of the side flaps.
   Make sure to attach the clips on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd 1” grid on the float cage.
   Make sure the clips have the rounded edge facing down
5. Lay the square black float on top of the float cage.
6. Line the black clips with the pre-drilled holes of the square black float.
7. Fasten screw and nut through the square black float and black clip.
8. Run the power cord from the F-Series unit through the square black float.
9. Cut a section of the float cage to allow the power cord to pass through.
10. Zip-tie power cord into place
