Stainless Steel and Aluminum Fly High Extended Pylon X-Pole by Barefoot International

The Barefoot International W2900 Stainless Steel Fly High Extended Pylon is still the only high-quality stainless steel pylon on the market made to fit 2 1/2″ pylons. It splits into two pieces for easy storage in a ski locker or bow of your boat. It’s the only extended pylon with a delron swivel at the top and at pylon height. The Fly High’s superior strength and safety come from our dual stainless steel cable system. It has a polycarbonate sleeve inside to protect your factory pylon. The Fly High Pylon has a plastic sleeve inside to protect and eliminate vibration and wear.

The Barefoot International W913X – Aluminum Fly High X Pole is all aluminum, anodized black and made to fit 2 1/2″ pylons. This monster is similar to the stainless steel Fly High but is one piece instead of two. It also has a polycarbonate sleeve inside to protect your factory pylon and our dual stainless steel cable system.

In the early 1990s before extended pylons, we were always looking for a way to make it easier for the barefooter or skier behind the boat. We even used to stand on the rear platform (Do NOT do this! :), and then lift up on the rope as it went out of the back to give the skier more of an upward pull. By using our Barefoot International W2900 Stainless Steel Fly High Extended Pylon or our w913x, you are raising the height of the rope from 3 feet off the water (or less) to 7 feet off the water.

This makes the skier or barefooter feel at least 30% lighter because of the upward pull. In addition, slower speeds can be used because of the lower resistance!

If you want to feel 60% lighter, we offer the Tower Extension or Super Fly High which mounts on the tubing of any wakeboard tower and raises the rope height to an amazing 14 feet off the water. This has now become standard at all record capable barefoot skiing tournaments because it makes everything you do behind the boat safer!

Important::: You should never use a poly-p rope which is commonly used for regular water skiing when barefooting. The poly-p rope can recoil and cause injury to the barefooter or the people in the boat.
