The Bearon Aquatics Surface Aerators Unique Design

 The surface aerator's water flow design is unique to Bearon Aquatics.  With the F250 and F500 Surface Aerators, water flows through the bottom of the aerator’s shroud as well as four additional holes. As it does, the propeller mixes and moves the water above the surface while de-gassing the water, raising dissolved oxygen levels and removing toxins. The F750DP and F1000DP Surface Aerators feature a dual propeller design that generates a unique umbrella flow pattern, which gives the aerator a small water feature that is more aesthetically pleasing.  You can even add a light feature to these aerators.

The pumping and high volume water flow de-gasses the water, removing carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and hydrogen sulfide. At the same time, it raises dissolved oxygen levels. This process removes the toxins and nutrients that cause weeds and algae to grow. Without those present, you get clearer water and significant odor reduction. Pond aeration also minimizes any anaerobic zones in the deeper water as well as the bottom sediment surface. This aids in the conversion of toxic ammonia to toxic nitrite, and then to safe, non-toxic nitrate.

This surface aerator arrives complete with a power cord and mooring lines. Each pond aerator has a sealed, fully submersible electric motor. Support brackets mount the motor to a PVC shroud, which sits on a custom float collar. A nylon axial propeller attaches to the motor shaft, which propels water at a high volume.

 To install, all you need to do is remove the unit from the box, then insert it into the float. From there, just plug it in. You’re up and running within minutes. You can also easily move the aerator from one place to another if needed.
